We all dream off the early VW tucked away in a barn or garage somewhere, but they seem all but gone these days.
So when a friend who is a British car nut told me about a car he bought that had been hiding since 1975 I had to stop by and check it out.
To give an idea of how grown over this place is, the first pic is what you can see from the street. BTW, its his house (now sold)
And this is what was in the garage...................

Here is a pic of how rotted the garage is.

Ho...lee...sh!T, OMG, and I hate you (okay, not you... but your friend) !! An XK 120 ! (...groan in jealous anxt ) An XK 140 is on my "must own before I die" list. Totally sweet find. Jeeze, all's I've ever found in various barns, sheds, and carports are a totally stock '65 bug with only 11,000 original miles and extremely rare dealer-installed York/Borg Warner A/C, a very solid, complete and original '60 Karmann Kabriolett, and a VERY solid and complete '59 SO-23 Westfalia, complete with all original delivery paperwork and documents.
Dammit !! When am I gonna get lucky
Okay, maybe I should count my own blessings _________________ -Kent (BaT "daleallen")

No plans on a resto. To original and complete. Even the skirts have the body number written in crayon on the back.
And the house. One word, bulldozer. It is a VERY valuable piece of property two blocks up from the Puget Sound. |

I'm diggin' that Model A roadster. My grandpa had a '29 roadster that he bought in '32 and drove forever. It was an awesome car. |

What's the story on that house if you know. Anything of value inside? |
