Awesome score.
I like the shot of all the seats.
It seemed like a disproportionate number of hump seats? |
Yes, like 4 out of the 7 sets !! The bummer is, he probably parted several delux Buses, but only having Singlecabs, he might have dumped the back & middle seats........... _________________ Tom

Yeah I gotta agree, but that was my find... Industrial kegerator for cheap off of Craigslist... we picked it up from about 15 minutes away
It now has to compete for space in the garage til I can get it cleaned up and filled up. I'll be able to fit 12 homebrew kegs!
And now back to your regular scheduled programming.... |

hey use Princeton Homebrew for brewing supplies. Joe Bair is a great guy and just happens to have oldvolks sideloader pickup to deliver brewing supplies.

Nice score! Finds like these and your pictures, make me want to move back to NH
Every time I visit my parents up there I go VW parts and bus hunting.
Good luck on your future barn stash finds! |
Nothing to see here in the Northeast. Move along.
How many of you would have waited this long for a stash like that? Hands up...
Yeah, me too.
Nice work Tom, and good to see you had a hand dragging all that "crap" home. |
I waited and worked all angles for 15 years for one pile. The best was the guy did want to sell the stuff, just could never make up his mind..... |

FINALLY Got to pick up the "Small" stuff that was stored in flip lid safe deposit type boxes at the old Bucks place.
More round tail lites, a bunch of Clocks, gas gages, ash trays, small Chrome stuff, a box of Carbs, Distbtrs.,coils, Knobs,Front nipple blinkers, wiper motors ect.
Some cool trinkets, and this funky Badge---------
I know I've seen that sign before, I just can't remember where ????
I still have a bunch of Lit to get from them, I hope it won't take another 10 months
I did find out @ the guys Memorial service that he was the Curator for the Mechanical Eng. Dept. @ the Smithsonian Muesum for 20 years.
The guy never married, and when asked why, he thought long about it, and said ; " I just didn't think I'd get my moneys worth " !! _________________ Tom
