I have noticed that there are two types of split glovebox cloks. Are both types original. Witch one is the oldest. When was the year change. Anyone have any adds.
I think I have seen an add for this type
Never seen any add of this type

I haven't seen the bottom pic style ia any catalogs.
Here are some pics I found in catalogs
1953 catalog

Same catalog lists the same clock on Tempo Wikings

I've only seen (and owned) a few of the top type as well. I'm not sure but I tend to believe the bottom one is a fake, would need many more pics of that clock to be able to tell. What makes the bottom one interesting even if it is a fake are that the hands style is authentic, and so its usually a tip off that a clock is a fake but those hands look very original. |

i got also one, looks like the one on the top, but instead of 52mm she has 60mm diameter?!?!
