Hey guys I have a question. I want to sync my carbs. Found the info on how to do it here. My old Empi tool will not work on the stock carbs on my 66 fasty it seems due to the mounts for the stock air cleaner. Whats the work around for this you guys do or where can i find a tool that would work?

I think it's a cardboard frozen limeade juice tube that is used for an adapter for Solex's?

Use a short length of 1 1/2" PVC pipe from your local hardware store.
That gets it above the stud.

There is a factory tool, but the dealers were supposed to make them themselves.

nice, i have the tool but don't have the tube. looks like it's time to head to the store for some Limeade =-)

I use an old number 1 main bearing out of a type 3. Wrap masking tape around the outer part, to seal the oil groove holes. Works great.
