Anyone have any recent experience with the Mr. WOB 4 tip muffler, I would love to hear a sample of what they sound like.........yeah stinks the WW muffler is so lousy fitting/looking because it REALLY SOUNDS GOOD!

I bought my muffler from Mr. Wob about a year ago. Took only a few weeks to get (he makes them per order and engine spec). Here is a video of the muffler on my "hopped up 40" :
Here is a link to my car going down the road with a 4 tip Wob exhaust. Sounds sexual!!!! @ least to me.....

what are the fitment issues with the ww/mr wob/cheap flat 4
4 tip mufflers when used on a bus w/o tailpipe cuttouts?
looks to me the mr wob will not clear the rear apron?
ww seems to hang real low and should clear
anyone had a problem with one of these mufflers clearing a post barndoor bus rear apron? _________________ WANTED:

I've been wanting someone with firsthand experience to answer that question myself. I like a muffler to tuck behind the apron good and not be visible. Can someone post up some pics of theirs and if they are happy with it. _________________ 58 Coral Red ragtop(Diana's car)

Take a look here. As you can see about half the muffler hangs down, but not what I would call obscenely low. I would think you could have it coated to help hide it or just let it color over time.

I realize that this is not the 4 tip Arbarth replica but It would stand to reason based on this picture and manufacturing procedures that it would fit in about the same manner.

there is a pic in the ww catalog that shows a press bumper single cab with the 4 tip mounted; looks like it clears the bumper just right, but no idea if the og apron has been modified _________________ WANTED:

Yesterday I stopped by WW., to compare the 2 exaust side by side.I will post pic later, I would of purchased the Vintage speed stainless on the spot, but what concerned me was that it was lacking the preheat piping..for the 36hp? Any input on these would be appreciated ?Other than that it is a peice of art, well built.
The abbart, is cool, but I personally do not like how low the tail pipes hang down, just looks funky...So I will hold off for now... _________________ .

Not necessarily correct by any stretch but beautifully designed and crafted nonetheless. _________________ 71 Type 1302 Custom

As an FYI, the VintageSpeed exhaust can be bought with the preheat connections... |

Ah I looked for it but I was looking for dual pipes..not there, I wonder why not?..........even at that I suppose I dont like the looks of either for different reasons...the Abarth for how low it hangs, and the Vintage, for not looking vintage enough.. _________________ .
