I'll be travelling to Yiwu and Guanghzou next week, want to meet fellow VW owners if any.

No but there's plenty of OO9s in China.

Seriously, VW and China have been making cars for years, but I doubt there's many aircooled there.

All I have seen are Santanna 2000 and 3000 and Lavida, a kind of Passat and Jetta looking cars. No aircooled yet.

I was in China from Jan/Feb and never saw an aircooled, I asked and they did know what and aircooled was. As for VW yes the Santanna is the typical car used for Taxi Cabs, they are everywhere. The Polo is also available, Passat is common also. Actually the oldest cars I saw where from the mid 90's.

Indeed no aircooled VW's on the road. Never got imported and I believe these days it is not possible to import an older car to China at all.

The only 4 aircooled VW's I saw in China were in our group whilst travelling east to west Cool

I was in China the first two weeks of March and I was surprised to see the New VW Scirocco, something I haven't seen here in the USA. Unfortunately I couldn't take a pic. It is beautiful.

There are aircooled VWs in China, mostly in the SAR of Hong Kong. Few of them are in Mainland China (I know there is a Super Beetle in Beijing).

I raced mine in Mainland China in a race circuit near Hong Kong.

China makes all the parts. All you need is a frame and body and you have a VW.

Did you find any? I've worked in China many years and have never seen one.
