My hand is pretty much up to speed now (still battling some infection and tenderness)
Money is still tight, work busy, and I'm working hard on my next career shift and flying around for interviews. _________________ Don't harsh my mellow...

Well - going to start a build thread for the hease in the "other VWs" catagory over the weekend. What frustrates me about not having a catagory is that I am trying to find the revised rendering that someone did on project in gray and its in a thread somewhere on here. Will look again later when I have more time.
BUt have a good day ahead of me - hoping to get the woodie on the chassis dyno today and may be looking at a possible parts stach buy out this afternoon. Man, I gotta get rolling next week on adding to my storage garage.....
Everett - would be SOOOOO nice to have the volksrod topic. _________________ D-Dubya Manx clone - 63 Short pan,1914.

Go Get'em!!!
I'm still dealing with some infection but my grip is way better and far less painful. I am going to tackle organizing the garage so I can at least do some minor stuff to the Volksrod... I'm getting antsy and hoping the money crunch gets better. _________________ Don't harsh my mellow...

O.K., I did my search and it told me there is ten pages and like 288 post. I read down page one and then cant't pull up any more, tells me "not available". What is up with this? Also a lot of pictures are missing on post's.This information sure would help on building my Volksrod. Thanks!!SlimJim Well Now I could pull page 2 to 10 up. Must have been a glitch on my end. Still no pics on a lot of posts just a grey square where a picture was. Thanks, SlimJim

Unfortunately I cannot control this, this means people did not post the photos on this site but hosted them elsewhere and they went dead.
This is one of the reasons we tell people to post the photos they use in threads in the Gallery on this site. _________________ How to Post Photos

As a guy that builds what I like to think of as hot rod style stock bodied cars I would love to see a VR section. I like looking at them and I'd like to build one eventually. I appreciate the work that goes into them, a lot of creativity comes out. _________________ Jason

Dang shame. My buddy is starting a VR build and some insight so he does not have to re-create the mousetrap would be cool.
I will be searching past threads on here that some of you generous guys put together in one post. That is awesome of you!! But if I can't find answers to questions, do you have any other suggestions?
I would spend a bunch of time in a VR forum but for now, I'm building a Manx and just helping him out.
Thanx again for all the info so far. |

You are free to start a thread about his car and post questions there - there is nothing preventing you from doing that just because there is not a whole section for it. |
What about co-naming the kit vw's forum "Kit VW's / Volksrod" ? I am not a fan, but this community is growing and can't be much smaller than the kit car community. I am even seeing these abortions in my area. Popular with the alt-country crowd...
I interpret Other VW's as stock vw's from other parts of the world. _________________ Feel My Pain l Sage Ad World |

Kit Guys... wont stand for that...
Volksrods are not in any way, shape or form any type of "kit"...
Let it be... most of us prefer it out back and under the radar.
Option...Maybe adding Volkrods to the "Other VW Vehicles" Discuss - description would help... _________________ aka Ken {o\!/o}

And move ALL Volksrod information found to that "Other VW Vehicles" forum.
May stir up some traffic and.... some interest. _________________ aka Ken {o\!/o}
