I'm trying to find out if you can replace a standard(or universal) turn signal switch with a toggle switch. If you can, how would you tie in the hazard switch? I would really appreciate any pictures if you have some. Thanks evryone and my 1960 spatz build pics are getting very close now.

I use two toggle switches mounted in the dash...one for left turn and one for right turn. Of course, if you turn both switches on...you have 4 way flashers. I've been running this for a few years, no problems. The down fall...it's not self-cancelling...you gotta remember to turn the switch off. The switches also have lights in the switch itself and they blink too.

A picture of mine before the car was painted. You can see the weatherproof ON-off-ON toggle between the two yellow indicator lights under the speedo.
