I been camping up at ........Bowman Lake. Best non-tourist Glacier Park lake.
(Kintla was full)
They sell beer and have WIFI here...it's becoming ubiquitous! (the wifi I mean)
Even checked valves, and checked timing in the car park. But they did beotch about Moses (my Chessy) having no leash.
Gonna delete a Labor Day Thread?

We spent a great weekend at the Buses of Da' Caves in Warsaw, Ontario.
It was our first year there, what a blast. Great cave exploring, nice swimming, clean campground, and 26 other buses to enjoy it with.
We will definately be back next year. Thanks to A.J. for organizing a fun event with some great goodie bags for everyone. The buses all looked great "dressed up" for the Christmas theme this year, thank goodness for LED lights, much easier to run off an inverter.

Ahh the Merc... great place. Sorry it's going to be so cold the next couple nights.. welcome to Montana I guess. I'm just West over here in Whitefish and just today became the proud owner of a '72 Westy I'm humbly titling the BumbleBus. It's been a two month process to get her and I'm looking forward to restoring her to all her former glory! Used to own an '89 and have always wanted to.. uhm.. go even more old school to a bay!

At home. The extra day isn't worth holiday traffic.
We're having rainstorms anyway. _________________ BUS FOR SALE

I got caught by some nasty pineapple express type rain out by Lake Kachess, which sent me back west later this afternoon. Tried out my new WalMart superduper awning though http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=344298&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0 which is surprisingly wind resistant, and did a fine job of protecting the huckleberry harvesters from the downpours _________________ > 78Grµn Westfalia `Donkey`

I'll be at work. Wish I could be off and finish putting
Tiki back together. But I need the $$$. Got her tranny
put in yesterday, just need to finish hooking up the axles,
and then get the engine back in.
I sure miss driving her.
Once she's fixed, I can take her camping again,
and use her as my daily driver again. _________________ 77 Westy named Tiki - Daily Driver 80 miles a day!

I made it to the Allegheny Reservoir in PA; but the Bus stayed home. I felt bad. Stayed at walk-in campsites. I love the space/seclusion of walk-in sites but miss having the Westy to sleep in! Next trip the Bus is going. _________________ '71 Westy |

Well did you catch anything? I was out fly fishing also up here in Alaska. My mom lives down by you in Redmond I plan on parking one of my other westys at her house and do some running around down there.Iam from Oregon but have been here for 30 years and it is time to run around the northwest again. _________________ where its cold and snowy |
