It opens the ambulance step.
Wide white walls don't belong or look right on anything after about 1940, they certainly don't belong on a Bus. The Bus is gorgeous, but those wheels really take away from it. _________________ First Trip in the RustyBus:

thanks to all for the good comments. "diamond shaped thing in the lower.." it's for work the step.
when found in scrap missing the slide door, step and front step mudflap. Now is back in genuine condition and work perfect.
I try found some photos from a friends how they look before restored because my camera with all restoration photos was broke. |

Hey Andreas
Nice ambulance, congratulations for the work that you have put down to it to make it look like this.
Hope you haven't remove the interior and keep it original and clean for many forthcoming years, specially in an island with such a high saltiness humidity.
More photos from the interior and the engine will be great.
Any chance you have a spare one of this diamond shaped hooks?
We have the step however we need the hook to work correctly. |

His bus, his rules...Right? I think they look pretty cool on the ambulance, but not so much on any other style of bus. _________________ Justin

Wow. I'm thoroughly impressed at how it looks now vs when it was pulled out of a field.
Awesome work! |
