For camping or swimming? No time on swim night to take out and heat up a BBQ, that'd take even longer than cooking in a pot. Though, since I've yet to try turning on my propane, the BBQ might be faster and the hot dogs would be ready after their swimming lessons! LOL

Yeah if it's for camping, got to cook on something, unlike some people around here I've been *rouging* it in a tent for the last 25 years! LOL

Thank you! That's an expensive little unit, $200 on Amazon. How did you secure it? Have you ever tried putting it under the bench? And, will it work just plugged into the outlet via the shoreline?

Iwavecube is nice but you have to have a inverter that will use pure sine wave or it will not work. I bought the Iwavecube and my inverter would not work with this microwave. I had to return it. I use the sharp Half pint also and this microwave will use modified sine wave unlike the Iwavecube. Sharp half pint has worked beautifully over the years.

i bought it used for $50 and this unit is really nice because it will work with cheaper inverters. i use the Cobra 1500 inverter from amazon and work great. some of the microwave will not work with the inverters.

Me too and I have no self control! LOL And, I want the convection toaster oven someone pointed out somewhere else. Could make tuna melties for swimming night dinner!

LOVE my crock pot! My kids on the other hand *hate* it...though, seriously, with some water (alone) in it over night, solves the dish washing water heating problem in the morning/dinner. I'd use a shoreline one though...
