Trying to source a proper frame head lower plate for my 52.
Is there an early chassis changes detail topic? My 52 needs some chassis work in the lower frame head area. Bottom plate is compromised under the master cylinder. I noticed there is some rib stamping on both sides of the tunnel on this bottom plate. I also have noticed a lot of these bottom plates on restored chassis are flat. While there seems to be plenty of data on floorpan changes, what detail developments went on in the frame head area through the early years? |

Ask wolfparts he just did a 51 in that area.
He could probably do one more.
