16K and it isn't a real westy but a 7 seater?Shocked 7 seaters aren't campers as listed in the ad. You can see where the middle seat is supposed to be in the kitchen pic.

I looked at this van over a year ago, obviously it isn't moving. Homegrown conversion, IIRC the top is completely homemade fiberglass. Kinda looked like an upside down jonboat.

The interior is all home grown as well. I would say the person who did it was talented, it's not a hack just unique.

JDB has had that camper for sale for roughly 2 years, i would hope inventory moves quicker than that. maybe it could be a trouble with his mechanic

Not to sound to picky, but for 16k that is shameful to even ask forthat sorta money. A justified big price tag should show either a west coast/southern body, low milege, a coversion, and well sorted mechanically all oaround. GoWesty can not be used as a comaprable for most sellers. VEry Very pricey, but you get that you pay for I guess.

They sell those rebuilt camper for a high price because not only are they completely gone thorugh and clean most importantly they offer various warranties. A private seller asking over 30k for any syncro westy can not really offer such a warranty unless they are a dealer themselves. Adddiitonally they are all usualy late model Syncros as well.
I only bring that up because I see some crazy prices for beat down Syncros westys with no conversion aking 30k+

Thisvan here is maybe at most a 7000 syncro with wilthed panels, worn seats etc. with a 500 dollar cabinent job and no conversion, if through they offer a solid warranty with service included it might be worth it
who knows?
