I'm using a used headlight switch on new lights. When I run the headlights into the fuse panel then out to the switch through the dimmer switch the headlights come on even without the switch pulled out to the on position.Could this be a bad headlight switch? Could the dimmer switch be affecting it as well? Looking for some insight. Thanks in advance for any suggestions! |

The basic circuit for the headlights should be power into the switch, then out to the floor mounted dimmer, and then to the hi/lo beams. Thats assuming your using a stock dimmer.
What kind of switch are you using? Do you have it wired correctly? |

IF lights are on with switch off, it pretty much tells me if everything is wired correct you have a bad switch........
