Day one southeast, 1st stop...(Bessie is still rollin' hard)
Headed up to Paradise...
Gettin' closer...
Moses illegally schwimming in the "reflection" ponds...
and the best part, when you get to Paradise, they have 'special' parking!
Mt. Rainer is a "must see" if you're coming near...
More to come... |

Nice pics, I was there 2 weeks ago camping at Ohanapechosh.
The Green Westy musta had a single carb!
Wow, Spirit Lake is still covered halfway with logs....I haven't been there since 1984 when it all looked like the moon. _________________ 70 Ghia Black convert-9/69 build date-stock w/133k 1600 SP-barn find now with a rebuilt tranny and engine

Day 3.......9-23 headed up to Mt. Hood (3 famous hills in 3 days)
Approaching Hood River...
hwy 35
Hood was smoky from some fire...
Paid to camp, as the rifle shots were way to close to my Ninja camp choice...
Moses swam, Trillium Lake
Early morning valve adjustment...after 3 mountains in 3 days, it was time...only #4ex was a bit tight again...maybe .003~.004
Gotta love the campfire...
