I can't ever seem to pass these places up...
All these toys for $5.00... I've never have had a real Timing Scale, nor a fuse cover. I needed one more "oh Jesus " strap, and I found another alternator adjustment bolt cover plate...
Here's the game...1st person to correctly identify that square rubber piece, gets a free alternator cover...it's missing one of its 6 prongs, yet stays in place fine. I'll pay the shipping!
(advantage non-westy owners) |

It's a rubber seal for the air vent that is mounted on the driver and passenger doors sending fresh air to the back |

that's the bit...vwtopia has informed me he doesn't need it. (yes I knew the answer before asking the trivia question, hence the westy joke)
If you want it, PM me...I don't need 2.

Like one hour ago... I just got a solid eliminator pipe with good muffler, visor and westy table for $25 from a bus that is going to the scrapyard tomorrow. I wanted to salvage so much more, but the guy is dumping it first thing in the AM and he's in a big hurry. Seems like a crime. Wiper motor.... going to the trash heap. Lots of good sheet metal... garbage dump! Wheels, hubs, door handles, latches, everything! I could cry.
Guy says he does it all the time, pulling transaxles for sand rails! Three this month. Call the bus police! |
