You can replace the seals on those fresh air flaps with some weather stripping...It works wonders. It's a one afternoon job. Some 3/8" foam weather stripping will do the trick so when you close the flaps...they are really closed. There is a thread on it somewhere on this site cause I read it and did it.

Still haven't run into you yet! Hope to....

Frank

Wow! I had no idea there were seals. Add that to my list.

A little fan to defrost the front window would be cool, like this one: http://www.autobarn.net/6000c-.html
Might be better than a random rag. Especially for those times that you've gotta wipe and drive at the same time.

Hey RIOMX if you mean a progressive that makes you hate your life in the winter you should check out this link! I use it in the winter and it's not that hard to set up at all. Lot easier then drilling your carb...

Hell this little guy works great for anyone stuck with a weber. Dirt cheap too Wink

If I'm taking the family somewhere then I'll preheat the Bus to keep everyone from bitchin'.

I have the shore power outlet (with a 15-amp GFCI outlet inside) so... In the Bus I plug in a 10-amp ceramic space heater and turn it on High. I run an extension cord from the garage to the shore power inlet. Let Bus interior warm up. When ready to go simply unplug shore power. I leave the heater plugged in and on in the Bus so it's always ready to go.
