ok heres the run down

stock 1700cc block
hydro lifters
weber 32/36
well tuned. runs flawlessly (nearly)
timing is at 28-29 degrees

once in awhile when im parking on a hill and have the brakes depressed the engine will diesel just long enough for me to hear it.

it only happens when im parking on a hill...
im thinking it has something to do with my brake vacuum taking the symptoms into account.

has anyone experienced anything similar?

If your booster is leaking and your idle mixture is rich the extra air could provide enough mixture to keep the engine running using glowing carbon buildup as the ignition source.

sounds about right on to what i was suspecting.

since im running a progressive with no pre-heat and no flat spot... im sure its a bit rich i havent gotten it on a wideband yet... since i have not got my duals onto it yet.. i dont want to dial it in untill i get those mounted..

i did however throw a good German 034 on my bus today upgrading from the utoh nine that was on it when i aquired it.

thanks for reconfirming my suspicions BD
