I am going to put some new Bilsteins on my rebuilt thing. New beam with adjusters for 3 inch lift. Re indexed rear end. I will be doing lots of logging road driving with the car. I also have Sway-Away Leafs in the front. Which series Bilsteins would be good to go with. I see they have: Heavy Duty,
5100, 6100, 7100. Any input would be appreciated
Thanks.

7100s... the are the only ones that are fully rebuildable at home, plus they are sweet with the external reservoirs. The other shocks are to soft you need the 7100s

I have 7100's on the front of my class 11 look a like with a 3/8" cut and turn and they a little stiff, but I have not drove them off road much. I hope to get a set for the rear soon. I don't have the reservoirs shocks but I want update them some day. E-shocks normally has the best deals on Bilstein shocks.

Best deal I found my 7100s was from Turner Motorsports/All Shocks (one year ago). Had them custom valved for my 5 ton rig at no additional cost (they arrived custom valved). They will come labeled with the valving number on the shocks, which is nice in case you ever forget. http://www.allshocks.com/bilstein/html/home.asp

Very happy with the shocks and I've put them through hell.
