Great idea. I will be camping that weekend but would be up for it next time they meet. |

Just a heads up. This Saturday 9/19/15 is the annual Woodie Car show at Moonlight beach in Encinitas. It is a great free event with live music, food, etc... Parking can be rough but I have found a spot every year within a few blocks of the show. I plan to head up in the morning for a bit. There always seems to be a bunch of Vans and busses at the show.

Just had my van towed to Jack at BRU all the way from Ocotillo. Might be time for a new engine, so I might not even be able to make the meet that I first suggested! Ugh. Saw Joey's Doka there...again.

Yep, that was it! Turned out the distributor shaft had popped out. I'm back in business!
Oh yes, and I saw Joey's doka. Jack let me take it for a spin (not!) 
Anyone else planning to attend?

What's up SD Westy Crew…
Is anyone interested in heading out to Anza-Borrego this Saturday (1/23/16) for a quick overnight trip?
I plan to head out late morning on Saturday and come back Sunday. The timing is flexible. The weather looks good, 74 day time temp 50 at night. Warmer than SD. Come on, let's get out there!
