I was just going through some of the VW factory manual supplements in search of a wiring diagram. Came across this campmobile supplement again and thought it might be of good use to westy owners.

Anyway, I did a search here and there but couldn't find it scanned and uploaded somewhere. I own a riviera but if anyone wants this I can scan and upload it sometime soon. Or has it already been uploaded somewhere?

The title page says:
Volkswagen Repair Manual type 2: Campmobile Repair Troubleshooting

It's about 30 pages and was included as a supplement on original VW repair manual I bought a while ago (in mint condition for $10 with all supplements Shocked Cool )

Upload away. I wasn't able to find anything listed as such. And it will come in handy to somebody someday. Wink

Definitely. It would be a good addition to the Samba literature archives.

Ok, here it is. If anyone wants to put this on their own server please let me know, because I'm not going to keep it online forever. I've also got independent jpg files for every page.

You can download a zip of the pdf file here:

Image may have been reduced in size. Click image to view fullscreen.

Thanks, but it's coming up 404.

I'll be glad to mirror a copy once it's available. Thanks.

That is officially super bad-ass. I wish I had those instructions years ago - but no, I had to figure it out by myself!

Cool

Nice stuff.

It may still be under copyright protection, which the bossman seems to like to keep off his site.

This is what is great for posting, so people can reference a single page in their post if need be.

Any chance I could get the independent jpg's? I'd kind of like to clean them up and make them a little more printable.

I can't download it. But does it cover Westy's prior to '68 Bays?

No luck here either. But that'd be great if MadMax78 or anyone else could upload it to The Samba! Very Happy
