Any users around located in Port Orchard, Washington around?
If so, I am looking for some background information (real life) opposed to what I can find on line, or from my sister- who lives in Oly; about statistics, employment, schools, etc. Or drop me a PM. _________________ Even YOU can prevent FIRES!

thanks for the contacts.
Cameron dropped me a PM last evening.
It's funny how much you can start to hate someplace, after so many years of nothing but problems. _________________ Even YOU can prevent FIRES!

True story,,,,,,,,, was at Ft Lewis for three months before the clouds parted enough to get a full scale view of Mt Rainier I did not even know it was there what a surprise that was , being an East Coaster I never saw a really really big ars mountain before,,,,,, was really Cool too ..... _________________ 73 Super Beetle, 4 speed

Back in 90 the wife and I went out to Wa. to find a place to live she liked the west side Seattle/Tacoma area and I liked the East side sunny and dry Yakima area which she really disliked on account of the big wide open spaces so we came back to N.Y.,,,,,, I still kick myself for not staying out there ......... _________________ 73 Super Beetle, 4 speed

2 types of weather there.
Raining or getting ready to rain.
Loved the area, the people and the scenery but the weather just plain sucks ass. _________________ OGJHC

Yakima isn't Eastern WA, it's barely Central WA. _________________ Pres. Rivercity VW Club www.rcvwclub.org

- and the Indy 500 sucks. I think it's pathetic, that they own all that racing history and the museum at the track is just horrible.
The funny thing about the "oh, it rains all the time" - statistically speaking the average rainfall around Bainbridge Is, Bremerton, Seattle is 40-60" annually. The average for Indianapolis is 30-50".
I'll keep the comparison, and loose the ass-sweat humidity that Indy has in August. Nothing quite beats 85* and 50% humidity to make you NOT want to do a thing.
Now if I lived out in Forks or Cape Flattery, then yeah- there would be 100" per year.
Crazy - Middleburg gets (.... Middleburg, FL, gets 48 inches of rain per year.)
