'Tis true.. I'm not big on all this fancy artist stuff, as long as my monitor displays color differences I'm good. Heh.. slight red/green color deficiency doesn't help things.

I actually quite like the creamsicle look, it is very smooth. My '73 is going to become and stay yellow/black, but I could definitely live with that one. Something about that orange just doesn't look quite right to me, original color Things need the semi-gloss paint.

Hmm.. Sounds like a decidedly 70's-80's 4x4 color scheme. I've seen a few old pics of Bronco's and CJ's painted about like you suggest, never a Thing though. I think it would look quite good.

Here's a pic of a Bronco I found with a quick search, kinda similar style:

And if you haven't seen bmwloco's old Thing, orange with black front end:

Maybe that helps some?

Have a 1973 Thing - Orange - with black top.

Considering: Replacing top and side curtains in white, orange paint with white fenders.

Anyone have one with the same scheme?

If so, can you post some pics so I can get my head around how this will look?

Thanks in advance.
