We have a lot more detail work before the bulkhead panel is welded in place, but we are happy with the fit and progress that was made in two days.

It is really great to see friends come together on a project like this. I too will be following this thread for updates. I like to see how you are paying attention to the details and not just hacking and welding. Keep up the great work guys on a very worthy bus.

Keep up the good work Jim. You have a great team working with you. This is definitely a worthy candidate. Very few pressed bumper Westfalia campers left out there. Get the metal work done correctly, and then you can worry about the correct interior stuff. The metal will take a while, and in the meantime you can eductae yourself about the interior. campingbox and lind will be great sources for info about the interior.

Looks good so far..... your bus only needs about 2/3 the metal work my '57 required. Hang in there.

Wow, that's a lot of work. All I can say is that it's looking stellar. You guy's show dedication that usually isn't present in many of the people on here.

Keep it up.

Nice progress. Is your plan to get it road worthy and log some miles on it? Maybe make it a driving project?
