I think I've seen your car on this site before. I really like it!
And a facebook group would be cool, anyone who wants to start it can, I have no clue how to make a group
Add me on facebook if you want, Clark Bellar. _________________ My '72 Super |

Haven't checked in this thread for a while...
To respond to the part about posting a favorite picture of your car ... I have it down to three ... (my wheels are black now, though).
I'd be down for a Facebook group, too. If anyone wants to add me on Facebook, though, just look up Eric Ashby.
And to answer our favorite Bugs ... I'd love to have a murdered out '74 Super (elephant feet lights have grown on me) with a turbo 2110cc. More realistically, I'm going to paint my car black and build a 1915cc.
Or just build my baja. Don't know yet. _________________ 1974 Volkswagen Super Beetle - Daily Driver/Rolling Project Beater - Stock w/ GT Style Exhaust

Joined the group.
And Retro - where'd you get the smoked turn signals? Look sick.
*edit*
Your Facebook said you work at Sonic, too ... I hated working there. Lasted a year and a half before I clocked in, made myself a burger, said I quit, and clocked out.

Hahahahaha, so good. I need to visit this thread more often.
What I'd love to have is a Super with an early body converted completely to fit over the super suspension and everything. Then a hidden turbo 2276 or something in the rear (Like that guy's turbo 1915 with the turbo in the luggage shelf). But of course, that's a ridiculous idea. For now, my super is just about right. I remember when I was like 13 or 14 telling a kid that my dream car was a hopped up bug, his was that 1000hp Nissan Skyline. I laughed at him then, and now I'm getting mine, and he doesn't even have a daily _________________ http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=366056 - My '73 Super Build. 2332cc, 16" Fuchs |

I'm in! 18 years old, my convertible was my first car got it in June of 07 and it lasted till may of 09 when i decided it was time to build a beast. and the sedan is my daily i got a few weeks ago. I'll be joining the group after this post! Lets see if i can find some cool pics.
heres my first bug, a 68 vert paid 4500 for her, gave her a teenage budget carpet kit, scat pro rally seats, lowered, buffed and waxed and polished every bit of here and then tore her down to make her better, faster, and stronger :p the build can be seen in my siggy but this is how i cruised before the project began
and here she is now
along with my new daily
