Won't down shift into 2nd.

Hello all,

So, I got her to run a little smoother...still some work to do. Ran 'er around the block. But it won't down shift into 2nd. Grinds... It thinks it's going into reverse... The stick feels pretty sloppy. I'll check the coupling, etc. but thought I'd post here as well.

BTW, 1969 Fasty w/manual tranny...

check the coupler, shift rod bushing and reverse lockout plate. then adjust the shifter properly
