The second last poster got Google to blur out his house on Google maps to reduce the risk of being robbed. The last poster provides a photo of his Westy including the address where it is parked on the Internet for all to see. lol

very cool, that's herein my neck of Central NY. been down that road many times.
we passed a Google car on our trip this past weekend, I wonder how long till the images get uploaded?

nah, he's caught off route 12 north of Boonville.
me I'm just north of Syracuse, but hit the Rt20 corridor often.
it's nice and flat around Cazenovia to Skaneateles isn't it.

Yes nice area. Just before that encounter, stopped for gas in Croghan where I had nice little discussion with young lady who's trying to convince Papa to let her take the westy across the country ... Apparently Papa saying that, right now, the brakes are no so good ....  " maybe later sweetheart ...."

Can't say. But that one was from the first day of the second leg of our trip : November 8th (and we just came back). I remember seeing the GoogleCar 2 times during the trip : that one time and once more in Mexico (a Nissan). I will be watching this tread to see how long it takes for yours to be publish. So now you have the official mandate to determine that delay for our leisure  .
Just one anecdote : People in that situation, take good note of what road intersection before and intersection after. It helps !
I'm currently flipping the page of my log book to see how deep over my head this little journey puts us. And I just saw a note on December 6th "google car 13h23". Only other info I have is gas in Destin FL before and Camping in Big Lagoon FL after (84 miles between the two) But I was determine ...

That's awesome!! I might get that printed and give to Mousey (who runs it).
Pals is byfar the BEST fast food I've ever ate. While I was in vegas I had In'n'out and it did not compare. The Kingsport, TN location was their first location and only walk in restaurant. All other locations are drive thru only and look exactly the same. They're known for their 'sudden service', burgers, and shakes.
I'd highly recommend if you're in the area.

You know John, that's what the air pressure does to the front crash/deformation area when you let the speed happy CV 2.0 AC engine pushes you near his MACH 3.8 limit. I think the 85 redesign was to correct that.
Anyway, good thing that VW went with the waterboxer after 82 'cause not everybody can handle such power...

Old house in Portland. Two white syncros. There was a camper shell in the carport at the time of this photo too. Tin top is currently being converted to pop top (with the roof from that shell) and tdi. |
