I have been a fan of The Dutch's work for years and today I come across this site. Von Dutch had a Thing and thought I would share this little Tid-Bit.
Enjoy.

It's interesting. I can't say I really like it though. Whatever the theme of it is, it appears to inspired by alot of beer and free time. |

It appears to have guns mounted in front. Goes right along with his "Badger" like personality. Notice it has one seat in front. I love the hood mounted Gas gauge. You think he was making a statment about the stock gauge? _________________ "Okay, so there's 6 beers and 5 of us. You know what this means don't you? 4 of you are going to have to leave."

That's amazing! The whole Von Dutch craze was going around a few months back but he's huge in California car culture history. I've heard he was a bit of racist though. But thanks for sharing, one of the cooler celebs to ever own a Thing :) |

You can find the feature in Barracuda magazine # 14. There is one on Ebay. This guy makes us crazy Thing owners seem normal. |

So, I wonder where it is now and who owns it since the Dutch is gone. _________________ "Okay, so there's 6 beers and 5 of us. You know what this means don't you? 4 of you are going to have to leave."

I like some of his work, but hate what he did to that poor thing. Anything with his name on it or even associated with him has been going for insane prices lately. Once Hollywood types started wearing Von Dutch label crap, I got over him. _________________ Wanted : "Long Beach - Circle VW Motors " License frame. |

Yeah, I hear ya. However, I do still have my favorite T-shirts like the flying eyeball and such that pay homage to him. He was an inspiration to me when I was a young pinstripper and sign painter. Hell, I still love painting with One Shot Enamel to this day. _________________ "Okay, so there's 6 beers and 5 of us. You know what this means don't you? 4 of you are going to have to leave."
