I have the opportunity to buy a 73 911T w/ 180,000 miles on it. VIN# 9113111151, engine # 6133371 and paint code 144-9-3. Currently not running and problem is unkown. Owner thinks its electrical. Can anyone help me breakdown the codes and give their thoughts of a price that would be fair.

NEEDS
-paint
-carpet
-all rubber
-tires

body is in great shape, with the exception of the passenger door and hood, both have rust.
Owner has all maint. records and there is no indication of any major overhaul work.
I appreciate your time and help.
Are there any websites that will give me the info I need?

Do a thorough inspection under the car they have rust proofing that hides rust and early 911"s are very prone to rust. I think the price is high for a non runnung car.

"price is high for non-running car"? I don't even see a price listed. A non-running 911 can easily become a money pit. Fun hobby but don't expect cheap transportation. If listed parts are rusted - then surely the floor pan is so check carefully.

"no major overhaul" - at 180k miles - it will need one! Very, very costly.
