pafree: Thanks for the link. I will be using that wiring diagram also.
Wow how time flies. I did a little bit of work on the trunk/stereo/wiring. I'm making all my own panels with some fabric and paneling. It's turning out not to bad. All the stuff in the trunk will be mounted on rubber mounts to help absorb the shock. Both batteries are going in the front and I need to finish the cover for the gap under the gas tank. Here's some pics, let me know what you think.

Update. Well it's been a while and things have changed again. All the stereo equipment has been torn out. I still can't get the brakes to work right. We went up north over the summer with the bug in tow. It made about 3 laps around a dirt road and broke the clutch pedal. The only thing on the car I didn't replace was the pedal assembly and it snapped the hook off the clutch pedal in the tunnel. Back to the drawing board. Looking at maybe a hydraulic pedal setup and some decent brakes. Nothing against the EMPI disk brakes but they really do suck. _________________ 1975 Baja Bug

THE RESURRECTION!!!! 4yrs of abuse, neglect and a ton of fun. Finally got some time to drive it last year. The turbo is a PITA! So it got tore off. Running just the 1776 with dual kads so I can actually ride instead of break non stop. Here are some pics from my last run up in Northern Mi. I'll have more updates hopefully. Trying to get some motivation to get this beast back on the road, figured reading my build would help. It's crazy how much I've learned from the beginning of this build up til now. Enjoy!!!
