I was riding shotgun with Lucas when he did that! I hopped in on the other side of the pit. I got about a 30 second ride before he high centered. I believe his son pulled him out with the volvo...

Great demonstration of how a decoupler/solid shaft/front locker works
Not much you can do with operator error though
One of these days I'm going to make it out there, it'd be great to go 4 wheelin somewhere that isn't just a big pile of rocks. |

If the dirt wasn't so dry this video could pass for something that happened in West Bygod Virginia. Cue the banjos! |

GAH!
Who lets somebody bounce on top of a Westy luggage rack!!!??
Thats as bad as putting a shoulder to it to latch the rear part of the sliding door when it doesn't close all the way. _________________ -89 GL Westy, SVX.. finally.

Hmmmm...the engine is in the back, and the back of the van is lower than the front. Guess where all the weight is? Guess which way gravity works? You'd think a smart guy like Lucas...ahem...would realize he should be having his "boys" pushing him backwards. Careful Lucas, you might overheat that engine and void your warranty! Don't forget to check the GW melt tabs.

Well, that is a pretty impressive bumper test.
