I attended 2 years ago. It was a blast. Found a local night club called "the drink" That was cool too. _________________ "some-times there's a man--I won't say a hee-ro,'cause what's a hee-ro?--but sometimes there's a man, And I'm talkin' about the Dude here, sometimes there's a man who, wal, he's the man for his time'n place, he fits right in there--and that's the Dude" - The Big Lebowski |

The dates are wrong. According to there website it runs only through the 18th. The 19th is a Monday and I dont think this is right.

I'll be there. I can't wait!
Having to trailer the '63, though due to a shot transmission (hoping to find one at the show! !), and hopefully taking the '66.
I've got a huge parts list! _________________ TJ

We've had some inquiries about times, so we've put together a general schedule of events for the weekend: http://www.bugapaluza.com/events
The gates will open at 12:00 PM on Friday for show cars, vendors, and campers to come in and set up. Then on Friday night at 6:00 PM, we will have an opening ceremony to officially get the show started. You won't want to miss this.
We've got live bands performing on Friday night and Saturday night.
The show layout has been reconfigured to accomodate more vendors and show cars. We've already had more vendors pre-register than we had total last year, and show car registrations are increasing as well. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged to ensure a spot. Online registration is open until April 9.
There will be a special gate for pre-registered cars to try and help streamline the entry process. If you're pre-registered, you won't have to wait behind someone filling out paperwork.
We've got full-time security all weekend and the City of East Ridge Police Department will be making regular courtesy drive-thrus as well. An ATM will be available on site and the East Ridge Lion's Club will be serving up authentic German food, in addition to grilled hamburgers and hot dogs from the Ronald McDonald House volunteers. The shirts and dash plaques are really awesome this year, too.
Many months of hard work have gone into making Bug-a-Paluza 12 the best ever. We are proud of Volkswagen for choosing our city as the site of their first US plant in more than 20 years. Come out and celebrate with us and we hope to give you an enjoyable weekend. See you there!
We're on Facebook and Twitter if you'd like to keep up with the latest show news. |
