For the vanaholics in the crowd... Very Happy

http://www.limbobus.org/xmas_ornament.htm

I (we) made some of these a few years back. The kids got quite a kick out of them this year when they unpacked them to put them on the tree.

BTW, I had nothing to do with the creation of the model. We have the good folks at the LIMBO to thank for that.

Happy Holidays Volks!

Moderator note: Updated version of paper ornament/model can be found on pages 4-6.

A fantastic way to waste time at work for me! Laughing Just finished one up in 15 minutes with scissors and a glue stick. I don't have a color printer so I just used a blue highlighter to give it pazzaz! Very Happy

My Syncro Hard Top modification. I'm counting on somebody here to tell me that I am normal and that this was not a colossal waste of time : )

Hahaha cool mod Syncronicity! Now I need to improve on mine.

BTW, we are all "normal" here on the Samba. Very Happy

That reminds me...whenever we went to VW campouts or met other Westy owners, I always used to say to my wife afterwards " see, I'm normal". Now I don't say anything and just grin and she says "your all crazy!" hahaha

With a little application of Photoshop you can "customize" it to your own Westy! This turned into our '84 Wolfsburg.

OK, next step is to build it.

Nice work Pascal & MootPoint.

In case you were wondering if the fuel cap had been addressed.

Most fun I've had at work in a while. I also Syncro'd mine out: 2-inch lift kit, moved the gas filler, and updated the grill.

I'm trying to figure out how to add rust to mine. It wouldn't be an authentic w/o it.

When I tried to print it with Microsoft's photo print wizard it would not print on one page. I imported it into Photoshop and printed it from there. If you don't have PS, you might try pasting it into Word.
