Pretty much all the specialty Hazet tools I have have already been posted. Here are a few that have not.

Hazet 2579 13mm double box end

I was told that this is to access the nuts around axle of the transmission. Does anyone agree or disagree.

Here are another couple.

2578 10mm
2578 13mm

I think these maybe for removing the intake manifold nuts on single and dual port engines. Any input?

Hazet #2582 brake adjuster

Could the hole possibly be some trick way to extend drum springs over to their hole??? Or just some hillbilly's way to hang it on the wall?? It does look factory though.

Hazet 773 lugwrench/ cap puller

The weight is nice, the action on removing the cap is perfect. It is hard to slide back the handle exposing hub cap puller (which often results in broken handles)

These 3 below are some recent flea market finds from a trip with Shane ^^ who graciously allowed me to have the lot from the day. See NP, It really does happen. (I posted this before but I seem to be on The Samba Sensor List.)

Hazet 2582 Brake Star Adjuster (note 2 holes that appear factory as opposed to the one hole above.)

Hazet 2769 Mercedes Valve Adjusting Wrenches. Not VW based but I can see the application in VW valve adjustment.

I found one of these in 36mm at an antique store when I first got into VWs. I knew of Hazet only because of the association with the spare tire tool kit. I purchased it for $15 and Marshal Painter bought it from me in a swap meet. He turned around and sold it to Chris Price from the Jacksonville Florida area.

I wish I had hung on to it now that I'm into Hazet. It is an awsome size too, the same as early bus and beetle rear axles and the glandnut on 1600cc and down motors (of course you know that;)

I have been working to complete a 2500 A2L which is a Hazet assistent with a compliment of tools for a VW mechanic. It has a variety of the 25XX tools along with a bunch of standard hand tools.

Here is my 2500A cart in progress:

Snoops, the Hazet factory in Remscheid is big, take a look at the view I had from the train each morning when I stayed a block away for a week.

There are two other production facilities in the area too, but they don't give factory tours. Sad
