Hello Everyone,
before some time I showed a Matra Hydraulic Pack.
Now I have all the parts (only one small part missing) for the Hydraulic Pack.
It`s for getting out the pins at the door hinge!
It is real easy!! to do it with this tool! No hammer and nothing else needed.
Here you can see some photos.
Thank you!

Hello,
I found a tool from Matra, that's not listed in the special tool section.
Maybe someone knows for what it is? Pulling out the torsion bars? It's Matra 148
Thank you!

This is a 757-10 modified - but I guess not modified by Hazet...
What was this tool VW 1336 used for? Are there any old VW manual photos?

I use these old German catalogs (PDF downloads) from the Hazet website:
https://www.hazet.de/de/katalog-historie
But I've only a few Hazet tools collected the past years: https://www.vw-t2-bulli.de/hazet-de.html
|
I would have thought you would have a very nice collection. Being from the land of their creation. I wish I could pick up my local classifieds and buy some reasonably priced old Hazet stuff. _________________

This isn’t mine, but I’ve spotted it for sale. Do you think it’s original or has someone made it (the vice grips are clearly original, it’s the welded bits on the jaws I’m asking about)? Vw1336 isn’t listed in the tools section so nothing to compare it against. Seller (no reason to doubt) says it’s original, purchased many years ago and clamps onto vw door hinges to re-grease. Hope I’ve put this in the right place but please feel free to move to another thread.

Using the Maui Blue suggestion, I set all the stuff out to do a match comparison. It looks to be a perfect match to my 172. Close enough for the 450 rack and the 850 case.

Latest score. An early small "a" 850 set and a 450 open-end wrench set.
Question, is the painted crackle paint on the 850 correct? Also, what are we using nowadays to match the Hazet Blue paint? I think I want to restore the box outside and the wrench rack.

Hazet 773 lugwrench/ cap puller
The weight is nice, the action on removing the cap is perfect. It is hard to slide back the handle exposing hub cap puller (which often results in broken handles)

My bug came with this. But the handle is stuck in the retracted position. Is there any way to repair it? _________________ 1971 1302LS Convertible (RHD) owned since '74

Very nice indeed! Nice score!
I have one to but donated it to the Hazet museum at the HQ in Remscheid.

Sorry to bring the dead back to life.
The dealership my dad worked at in San Luis Obispo used to have the special tools on boards on the walls.
Are there any sources for them (is set, mac etc) I think it would be a good addition to his workspace. |
