Door window inner skins are not right above the window line. The original skins are flat.

Ok, hit the quote button on the top portion of the post you want to quote then type below that. Why did you cut the left side panel through the top 1/3 of the beltline, out of curiosity?

I guess the customer is always right. You'll be leaving the original chassis # and m-code plate on it so people can tell it's fake, right?

if a furture buyer doesn't easily spot this as a conversion most likely they aren't going to catch it in the vin. anything other than panel with double door screams potential fantasy bus. besides (zipping up my nomex suit) completely finished to the quality level shown so far who would care. it looks like a quality job done really clean.

For reference, the chassis # doesn't indicate the model in 1959.

ok in reference to the top third beltline cut; i always join the seems as close to a break line as possible, helps support the weld ,and certainly easier to metal finish.hope this helps explains.

thanks for your support.id like to add the guy has owned this bus since 1994 and paid $500 for it!.He has absolutely no intention of selling it.His children love it and play in it all the time.He s in it for his own pleasure ,afterall hes had it well over 10 yrs and fancied a change....so he said what the hell i want a 15 window now!.....maybe 23 in another 10 yrs time!!

... but the popout panels do.

Interesting sex change going on here. Not quite sure what to think... a good working class bus deciding it wants to wear heels and sport a vangina. Will be curious if the other working class buses will actually be tricked into slipping it some transaxle like real deluxes crave.

Eventhough I don't agree with the conversion, I'll have to say at least he is good at what he is doing, defntally will not be another bastard hack! I suppose it will look great when it is done, and the only way to tell it is a custom job will be the M-codes.
