That is some crazy metal work.

With that said I am not bashing you or the
money man. Ask the canadian camper guy
if he would ever invest in a panel converted
to a 15 window a second time around.

and what are you thinking it would be worth still being a panel, 15.5???? if that is as nicely done as the photos suggest the camper interior is more the problem at that price than all the windows.

IIRC the interior was definitely the problem. Especially the fluffy/saggy/wrinkly front seat.

Asking price for canadiana was crazy and in the
beginning and he hid the panel fact in his first add.

The metal work on this bus is something of its own,
please keep the pics coming. Always nice to have a
different thread to follow.

Great and amazing work as usual Jon!

I have had the opportunity to work with Jon and he is a truly gifted metal worker! I have worked with many fabricators and none have even came close to having the skill and creativity as this man! He can take a flat piece of metal and create ANYTHING!!!

He would be the first person I would call to do any metal work!!!

Keep up the awesome work Jon!

......thats pretty much it from me on the metalwork side of things for Bryan.
Bryan is now prepping the bus for paint.
As for me ive been forced to work on another catergory of old vehicles,ie. 57'Mercedes 300 sl and next a ferrari lusso.
The recession is playing a large part i guess in the VW world,so thats why im working where my head is at not my heart!
thanks for all your comments along this build everyone ....... even that special person Kombi sutra!

thanks again.

I had to remove my garage door to get my 15 window out. Not an uncommon thing. Laughing
