I think that a Lopi pellet stove in the shop is admitting you're old.
The visor looks off, too. |

1800 SF insulated garage space = an ice locker colder than outside with the heat off, or a warm space with the stove on
Besides its my cousins space. Not mine. I would turn on the propane heater for 10 min. Cook your ass out. _________________

I've never tried to turn it on...it looks like it was taken out of a box and installed yesterday. _________________

New TOOB member. I recently picked up this 1973 Tintop Westy. Bought if from an orginal owner in Prescott AZ (who bought it from Miller VW in DelRey Beach, FL in June '73) and drove it home 468 miles to Santa Clarita CA. Alternator gave up at some point but the red top Optima fired plugs all the way home.

Mike,
Thats a sweet looking score! Very nice og interior. Nice collection in the driveway as well.
Me I've been putsing around mostly enjoying driving the 77 bus in the SoCal sun. I did add a trailer hitch to the notch, then moved all my life from Seattle to Escondido. Lots of bus and T3 adventure there. No sooner than Im kinda settled in then I find a 70 Rivi hard top Camper and buy it.

My very first VW; I was 18, 1988; was '74 Rivera Red and Off white with the Pop top. Did 2 college spring breaks and drove it from Houston Texas to Los Angeles Ca. in the Fall of '90. Wish I still had that bus... _________________ Mike D.

lol I'm running loowwwww on supplies - still have enough ecu pins for like 4 or 5 more harnesses but then thats it. And BOOTS have been REALLY HARD to get ahold of, hit and miss.
I've missed driving my VWs real bad and I FINALLY got a counterpart in Oregon so I don't spend a 1/4 of my life traveling. SO back to grinding on the dubs
I've gotta get the suspension/brakes and undercarriage of the squareback all redone, its not safe to drive as is. As soon as I roll this japanese donor carcass out of here its next up on the ghetto wood stands
good to see you're still haunting this asylum old man _________________ 71 Squareback-FI -- 73 Bay (subaru powered)

Pull your hands outta your pants and put them on the keyboard occasionally (wash them first)- we still live here, Jackass.
Engineers... excuses right out of the gate. Makes me wonder how anything gets done.
