I don't remember seeing this Ghia before. Has the obvious look of a pre-production model. There must have been a few of them made but as far as I know the '53 show model is the only one to survive.

Definitely pre production design study / prototype, look at the door glass- 1/4 window overlap, and the side trim, curves around the wing edge like the the '53.
They will have made a few prototypes/test models, probably all lost in time, but maybe one day another will surface from the dusty vaults..
