Say- I wonder if the boy on the bike grew up to sell the red/black Ghia to Trylon decades later! |

That is awesome!!!
What a classic photo, I wonder where that was taken...wait, maybe that is Trylon as a young boy, he's been reunited with his dad's first car. _________________ 1971 Ghia convertible (Body off rebuild)

This popped up on my FB feed. I follow a retro photo group.

They're not thin backs, they're the later style. It has the defroster vent on the parcel shelf (you can see it by the boys head) , that came in Sept.16th 1957- same day the seats changed from thin backs to the later style.
Cool picture, nice brilliant red/black coupe. Did you notice it's only got one wiper arm?! |

I look away for a moment and come back to see my name bandied about!
And where’s this “red/black” coming from?
B.C. states Cardinal Red.
Do I have to patrol this whole darn site?! _________________ 1973 Porsche 914 2.0

Since when have I become the punchline?
Do I have to search the entire site for “Trylon” from now on?! _________________ 1973 Porsche 914 2.0

It shows what an impact you have made to the site, going from a 'noob' to a full on contributor with skills that have helped others....take it as it's meant, you're part of the kool kids!
