OK so I just resonantly bought a 67 deluxe. My plan is to do some medal work with NO experience with welding. I will also be putting a 4" narrowed beam and IRS.
This will be my first go at it and I think I'm ready. Here are some pictures of it when I got it and some of the work I have started.

OK so I have done some more to the bus. Both lower areas on the stationary windows were pretty full of cancer. So I cut out the passenger side and cut in a nicer piece.

Here is what it started out like

OK so today we made some good progress. We got the window area and the battery tray welded in.
I think it came out great. Next I will put a little body filler sand her down and spray her with some OG Cumulus White.
Here are some photo's.

I'll be cleaning this up a little more the seam sealer and that will be the new resting spot for a battery.

Well thats all for now. I will be back at it tomorrow and all this coming week. I'll keep you posted.
Thanks for all the help Kenny..

Nice start.

It is only my opinion. I would try to keep any mods to what can be changed back with out cutting or welding.

Bolt on suspention changes are the best way.

Looks like you got a good start, keep the pics flowing.

OK so today I used a little body filler to fill where we had are weld line. I put it in primer for now and I bought some cumulus white so once I'm done I'll do a blend.
Here is the finished panel minus the paint.

I also did a test to see if using a football in the nose would push a dent out. Well it worked now mine needs to be banged out a little but I can live with it like it is.

Not to bad I can see it working nice with a pushed in dent.

My next task will be the drivers side stationary window.

I'll post pictures as that is getting done. It will be a little more work because I will need to change the inside as well.

Thanks for looking.

Well I think we got allot done over the holiday. So as of right now I cut out all the old cancer and I cut in the new green metal (The funk) so far I love Gerson's metal. It fits very well not much cutting to fit.(So far)

Anyway here are some new photos. There is VERY little tweaking and then we will start welding. (Hopefully this weekend.)

This is what it started as

Now I know this looks like swiss cheese but I cut out the cheese as you'll see in the next couple pics.

Here is the C-pillar in place.

Well that is were we stopped as of now. I do still have to weld it in and rust prof it. I also want to make sure everyone know that this is my FIRST time doing something like this. So if anyone has a suggestion please feel free. Because I know there are allot on more experience then me.

Thanks for all your help Kenny.

And thanks for looking.
