After doing some touring, thought it would be nice to have a thread of Members who would allow people to overnight or camp at.
Might not be good to post an address; send a PM for that.
Happy travels, Jeff

This is so lovely.
I'll be in this area come the end of September. If the offer still stands I'd love to wake up to this beauty! _________________ 1987.5 wolfsburg hardtop; 2.1

I'd offer up my place but my driveway is too short for a van to fit in it. You're welcome to park in the street but you could also do that all over the neighborhood/town without any permission from me.
Anyhow, there's lots of better options on the USFS land surrounding town. _________________ '91 Westfalia GL Automatic (GTA "Turbo" Rebuild w/Peloquin) and 2.3L GoWesty Engine |

North side of Phoenix, AZ
Bed, shower, tools, food, boat ride.
Not the best location to be spending the night in your van, especially from June through September, but you've got driveway space. _________________ ~Kamz

I am in Central Virginia and have an area for camping. As well as a shower, kitchen facilities, and a washer/dryer.
Hell, as long as my rental house stays un-rented, I've got a house available. It's private with an approx. 1/4 mile drive and surrounded by woods.
I'm on US Rt. 15 in Arvonia, VA |

I "get" what Kam said. I agree and when I have the time I do look and sometimes use other areas of the site but when it's Vanagon related, I'm here for sure. Wish there were some offers on where I travel, be a big help but NE States and Southern Ontario are pretty densely populated, I guess.
I like the idea of this thread for sure. I'm just outside (next door) to Toronto's west end, not too far from Lake Ontario, near major public transit systems, live in apartment bldg but kewl park like setting a wee distance from the back of bldg (I've often thought of doing a campout back there), some tools, knowledge of vanagon specialists in area. Shower, towel and even laundromat in basement.
AT VW GTG's I mix with everyone but of course I am attracted to like-minded people to sit down and spend time with.
comment removed by me as post removed! Good thread. _________________ '09 2.5L Jetta 5 cylinder, 5 spd, super turbo, see thread in H2O Cooled Jetta, etc...

I have a split bus, but would rather have vanagon people camp at my place, usually the split bus people smell like fish or moth balls....but they can camp at my place too. |

OK, now that this thread has sadly become, for some reason, a place to divide the samba community, I will make myself clear as far as my invitation is concerned (http://domaineduperchoir.com/index_en.html) :
- Vanagon people are welcome to camp at my place for free and for fun... I have a few tools and there is a good VW mechanic in town.
- Bay, Split, whatever bus people are welcome to camp at my place for free and for fun... I have a few tools and there is a good VW mechanic in town...
- Bugs, Karman Ghias, whatever, are welcome to stop at my place, but as they obviously don't have a bed in their car, I have rooms for rent at my B&B... Oh, and BTW, there is a good VW mechanic in town !
- Hondas, Kias, Fords, GMs, Suzukis, Subarus... you're all welcome to rent a room... I do have a few tools that you might not need. If you have a Suby, I might steal your engine for future use... Oh, and I don't know a f**k about any good Honda, Kia, Ford, GM or whatever mechanic in town, but if your car breaks down, you usually don't bother and buy a new one, don't you ?
Now, if you may, guys, I think this thread is a great idea and might even be worth becoming a sticky... if only we can stick to the topic...
Looking forward to meet some of you, I'm sure you'll love my place ! _________________ 89 manual Vanagon GL Wesfalia |

Nobody even bothered to thank you for the offer, did they? Let me be the first... and I don't even have a Vanagon. _________________ Немає виправдання для війни! Я з Україною.

OK thank you all and all the future offers posted here.
Rimouski, I hope to get your way in the fall, may take you up on an out of the way spot, have my own bed, loo, stove, fridge; may need to obtain some water before I get there! Will let you know.
