Can anyone help me with pictures like this. I will try to find out when the pressing in the reinforcement plate changed from 7 pressings 5.
As I know there are 3 different types.
The picture is from my own 50.

Hi Tonny,
on my barndoor (20-06751) it looks the same as on yours. I have no better photo in the moment. But as i see, there are 7 pressings.

See you
Axel

My '51 (20-14119) has six. Four behind the hump, but only two in front. It's in a tight spot to get a picture right now, but I can try to get one soon if you need it.

The change must have been when the Heater control knob and choke lever from ch. number 20-14685
The chape of the new bulkhead do it necessary to redo the reinforcement plate.

It would be great with a picture of the six pressing.

I am still trying gather some more information for use on my site, but need two more pictures.
One with six pressings and a picture of the spare wheel box on a ambulance.
Something like this, but from a ambulance.

Hi, this pic is from my Jan 1952 Panel 20-020427, I promess you I'll take a better pic later.
As you can see there are 6 pressings, but to outside instead of to inside.
So the change, from 6 to 5 pressings should be between Jan and May becouse in my May 52 Ambulance 20-027664 there are 5 pressings.

Image may have been reduced in size. Click image to view fullscreen.

Other difference I notice between them is the reinforcement on the roof (see link below), is present on the panel, but not on the ambulance.

Buba - Vw used the same panel above each chassis rail, so on one side of the bus the pressings point out and on the other side the point in. If you check the other side of your bus you will see the pressings point in
