Clean the bird doo doo off the rear fenders using a little bit of baking soday and water before the paint gets ate up by the acid.

thank you, it is nice, the paint is all crusty and cracking in some spots and bondo on the rear apron so the body is gonna need some fixing. but other than that it runs good.

I agree 100% SB's are almost as hideous as the "New Beetle" but leave the STD fatties alone. lol my first car was and still is my 72 Standard Beetle.

Yeah totally man. I finished the 72's restoration last summer and picked up this 58 yesterday. All it needs body wise is rear fenders since the current ones are Fiber Glass Evil or Very Mad a back seat, and semaphores.

Looks good , finished mine about a year ago . well almost I am still goofing with it . Laughing got My semiphores from a guy in canada , real nice work great.
