I drive a 2004 Chevy Astro Van for work, and it has the nozzels on the arms. Just figured I throw that in.

Just ran across this item...

When I get my new garage (we're remodeling) in May, I'll take one for the team (TOFTT) and order a pair.

Hi Craig,

I think they are the same sold here too

http://syncro-services.com/index_modi_eng.html

I ordered them a while ago, they are on their way here, I'll have them this or next week. I will PM with pics.

I never installed the 3-way ones I got, too big, when I saw the ones above I decided to go for those...

I didn't notice if you had these on your van when we met at suspension meet. Did you get them on? Do they work well? The stock ones are rubbish and just smear the bugs around. Sometimes I don't want to stop to get out and clean the windshield with spray and a rag...

I thought those were not high enough.

Those are a modern version of what a 356C Porsche had (no silver anodized cap.)

Do those work well on both early and late Vanagons which have different squinter positions?

Inquiring minds....

what does "not high enough" mean?

that they don't send a squirt far enough?

The other ones sit further away or higher up from the cowl which seems to allow them to squirt and not hit the wiper system.

In other words do these SWF Porsche squirters allow the spray pattern to be effective.

I hope I am making sense.....

The squirter needs to be tall enough to spray over the windshield seal and onto the windshield. The lower profile ones hit the seal and if you adjust it up it squirts over the windshield to the roof.

Are you stating these little SWF ones from a few posts up will not work then?

I have no experience with those.
I do know that is the reason the gen 2 smart squirters won't work though.

I have the Pelican 911 ones and they work fine.

Image may have been reduced in size. Click image to view fullscreen.

They however are not far off the body so they are very sensitive to the squirt angle. Too shallow and they hit the gasket/body, too high and they bypass the windshield. But with a needle to do fine adjustments they can work just fine. YMMV.....

I was checking pelican part#914-628-203-11-M78 and its
mfg by swf for 911/911S / Carrera (1974-1977) & 911 (1974-84), 911 Turbo (1976-85)

Then I crossed referenced that swf# for those models & came up with
http://www.amazon.com/SWF-W0133-1638785-SWF-Washer...automotive
Manufacturer Part Number W01331638785SWF

Then google W01331638785SWF its all over the place inc amazon
