Ouch! I didn't even look at the price. Agree, pretty expensive for such a tiny thing

If we can't figureout the part number I propose a group purchase sharing shipping costs. Who would be in?

shipping is not bad $13 or so for mail
its the $35 for 1-3 way nozzle that kinda chokes me up
when you can get a set of 2 for $9 for most any jap/us vehicle
shipped for $1.99 from asia

Yes that ebay link is them, they look like they belong to some construction equipment or farm tractor. Not small, but boy do they work great. To be honest I think putting both on would be way overkill. I put one on my drivers side & adjusted my new four nozzle system for nice coverage across both sides. They are ground down at the back to clear the body crease & have be ground on the inside to remove 2 of their four original plastic tangs. Like the OEM they are a one time use part, it'll be a vice grip job to remove like the original. Fit is good, I made a 1/32" rubber gasket for mine.

By scaling the washer nozzle assembly to your finger's that gizmo looks as big as a ping pong ball, or a golf ball.

Is it on the pretty big size ???

Looks like a good idea, but mabe the Mopar two nozzle is a better idea if this is that large.

TK my camera was in macro mode so they look big, not that they are mini tho.

The hyundai ones look promising, are they adjustable? Lots of car squirters fit but are made to fit to the hood, not the 45ish degree angle of the van bodywork so they squirt too high & are fixed in place anglewise.

My 02 Nissan Pathfinder has 3-way sprayers. I wonder if they would work.

I think a lot of the issues is the angle the nozzle must be at to hit the windshield. So standard passenger car nozzles don't have the angle to hit windshield. I would be checking rear nozzles like the ones on Volvo wagons. I also rememeber reading that some old rabbit rear nozzle would fit and spray at the correct angle.

If it works- it was cheap

Do you have the Smart car in the States? Made by Mercedes... The three-jet washers are from the first-gen Smart Four-Two. Cheaper to buy directly from the dealer I think.

Had a set of these on a previous syncro and the are simply excellent!

What is the MERCEDES part number?

I buy direct from Mercedes, very cheap. BUT, I need the part number. I get a smoking deal as we have been buying from Mercedes for over 50 years.

What is the Mercedes part number??????

With such a great relationship with Mercedes, why don't you call and ask them?

Doubtful you're going to find out from posting here when the thread is only a few days old.

1621,

Usually the parts guys need a VIN or year or something more to go on. Model names and numbering are frequently different from what is generally talked about or posted and what the factory knows them as.

I have access to the Mercedes on line parts catalog (pig that it is.) I will poke around when I have a chance. Since I never deal with anything newer than 60s Mercedes, I do not know if the Smart cars are available in the catalog or not. We'll see.

Why not drill a couple more holes in the original ones?
My washer fluid comes out like a ROCKET so it would easily feed 2 more holes.
A small #60 twist drill bit in a hand drill would go right through and into the feed for the existing hole.

I can not seem to locate the Smart Car chassis in the Mercedes EPC (Startek.)

What is the chassis designation of the Smart Car?

Is it the A series 168, for example?

OR??????

Turns out the Smart Car is a different company than Mercedes. There is NO on line access for parts except via a paid subscription. The dealer only has two logins, for example, which they pay for.

*IF* the part in question was available on a US version, then I can buy it. If it is from any other country, then it is likely a no go. Sigh....

So what's the part number?????? I can then see if they can get it.
