Adjusted the angle of the shot so the horizon is more horizontal. This reminds me of so may campsites and KOA's I was dragged to as a kid traveling the US. Every year, visit relatives in Tampa, then up to Buffalo then back to San Diego.

Approx 1978. We drove with my Aunt/Uncle from UK to South of France. Note the headlights on dad's blue bus. To drive on the "wrong side of the road" in France, by law, we had to paint the headlights yellow and apply black stickers to stop our headlights shining incorrectly at oncoming traffic. They used to sell a kit.
That's me in the blue bus drivers seat (J reg, 1970 bus. Uncles is K reg, 1971 high-top), 40 yrs ago and with a full head of hair.
Take lots of pics of your travels, folks. In 40 yrs time, it's like being there all over again.

I am wondering if that photo is right before the alligator lunged... . That said - typical rear bumper. _________________ “Most people don’t know what they’re doing, and a lot of them are really good at it.” - George Carlin |

Looks like bus #2 needed some help via tow strap. I wonder if #3 is attached too? Someone is pushing #3.

The other photo is from a first grade dance - Nice blue bus in the background. Didn't want to hold the little girl's hand.

I currently own a similar bus, where i had to pluck this thick carpeting out of, this bus reminds me of that.
