Interesting how that windshield came out. Usually most of the little chunks stick the layer of plastic laminated in there. I know some of the older stuff didn't have laminated safety glass, but I figured all vehicles had it by the time that bus was built.

Not in Europe, some jurisdictions required tempered glass windshields long into the 70's, or maybe even later.

The weirdest thing about all these 70 photos is people don't know that they are supposed to have 50's hot rodder white walls or at least thin white stripes on their wheels. They must have never been to a car show or something.

Their actually were a few people running around with white stripe sidewalls, but no one under 50 would do it. My grandfather had some on his Oldsmobile wagon though, because we was olds.
