Hello Marcus,
I need help. I have a customer who would like us to manufacture a set of standard door panels and seat cover for a June of 1948 Standard Beetle. I would like to know if you have the material for sale. Give me a call when you have a moment.

Best Regards,
Enrico

I bought a VW 1950 and there followed with new material to a complete standard interior.
I have left the new fabric to a company who will do the job for me.
But i've problem to find good pictures on how a standard seat should look like.
I emailed the company that sold the material and asked about the name on the fabric and if he had some picture on how a seat should look like.
Some mails later without any answers i got an short answer.

"I am not your information desk"

I have been in VW world for 36 years and i have bought and sold car/parts through the hole world but i have never received such a rude answer ever.
A person i have had great respect for for his nice interior work.
But now he have lost all my respect.

I'm maybe a small customer for him but i will never ever buy anything from him.
If if'm so have to sit on the springs and drive my 24 cars.

I asked for a pictures on an seat, not the recept on COCA COLA!!

Please is there someone that have some nice pictures on a standard seat.
Thanks for your help.

that is three different cars, two 51's and a 49. your 50 will have the same pattern/stitching as the top and bottom examples. the 49 seat backrest has a different pattern along the top.

right, the material is different for 49/50/51 but what I meant was the way the seat covers are sewn together is different for 50/51 than 49, so don't copy the 49 seats.
