Looks like the Silverfish that was featured in Volkworld Camper & Bus some time back (Number 1 in this thread I think? Frank should be able to clarify):
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140511277987&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT
Fast turnaround on that one to get on eBay Germany so quickly, it ended on eBay UK on 21st February, with a Buy it Now of GB £15,000 or Best Offer, it had 3 offers when it ended.
Must be at least the third time it has changed hands in the past 12 months, it's an immaculate example.
Looks like it has made it's way 'home' from the UK back to sunny Germany. Be interesting to see how much the Germans are willing to pay, bidding looks pretty intense at over Euro €9000 with over 6 days to go.
(Something I have always been curious about with this one particular bus is those three strange shaped switches under the glove box? What are they for? Are they part of it or installed by a PO?). _________________ 1965 Type 1 Deluxe (1200cc)

same one by looks of it, the markings on interior wood are same.
does look good. what i've found is some silverfish owners won't help with info as the more we find the less rare they become
the mags still quote something like only 5 remain _________________ http://thelatebay.com |

More than 5, but not may left I reckon in the big scheme of things. That one is pretty unique as well with the Westfalia interior installed from brand new, and by the magazine article is an unmolested barn find. I should have bought it and taken a drive to Germany, there is gold in them there bays! _________________ 1965 Type 1 Deluxe (1200cc)

I saw that the other day! ^
It says if you want doors and stuff you have to pay more...why not just slap it all back together and sell it as a combo meal?
